Pottery Workshop – A Living Tradition in Cappadocia

This Pottery Workshop is an invitation to experience Cappadocia through the oldest hands-on tradition it has to offer. Held in a serene studio just 10 km outside of Göreme, the Pottery Workshop begins with the raw clay of the region and ends in the quiet satisfaction of shaping something from earth with your own hands.

Guests of Logos Cave Cappadocia can participate in this immersive Pottery Workshop guided by local masters using the traditional kick wheel. This ancient technique, still practiced by artisans today, reveals the patience, control, and heritage behind every swirl of the clay.

The Pottery Workshop includes a step-by-step introduction to forming, decorating, and painting your own piece. It’s an opportunity not only to learn but to connect with the material, the artist, and the culture of Anatolia.

Sessions conclude with a guided tour of the studio’s collection rooms, where award-winning ceramic works are on display. Here, participants gain further insight into the evolution of Cappadocia’s ceramic artistry.
